Free Fun Day in Cranbrook Country Park Sunday 7 August, 11- 3
We have unearthed some of Cranbrook’s hidden stories in our Routes for Roots project. Come and see what we have discovered in a range of family-friendly activities:
- Go back in time with our storyteller in a Saxon tent to hear the intriguing story of the Cranbrook Archer from the Bronze Age. Starting each hour: 11 / 12 / 1 / 2.
- Become a boat builder; learn to rivet and decorate wooden bunting
- Discover the different types of trees found in Cranbrook Country Park on a photo walk. at 1pm
- Come aboard THG's Creative Cabin and examine some ancient artefacts.

Volunteer call out - can you help us?
We are looking for volunteers to help with the Cranbrook Fun Day's exciting programme of activities.
The event runs from 11-3 in the Cranbrook Park so if you have a spare hour (or two), we would be really grateful for your support, please email: aaroussi@eastdevon.gov.uk
Try out an electric bike
Try a Co-Bike for free on a gentle ride to Clyst Hydon. Thursday 11 August, 3.30-7.30pm Start/Return at the Younghayes Centre, Cranbrook Optional swim in the Clyst Hydon open air pool and/or enjoy a drink and food at the Five Bells Inn.
