We're delighted to be announcing dates for summer and autumn.
Our programme of free guided Waggy Walks is re-starting very soon! If you haven't joined us before Waggy Walks are open to everyone and are great fun. All you need is some comfy shoes and a dog. Walks usually start at 10am and last for 1-1.5 hours in length depending on the speed of the group. I arrange all the walks and I'm always joined by a member of the site team from the place where we're walking, so there's no chance of getting lost and we can answer any questions on route. It's a great opportunity to socialise your dog, learn a new walk and enjoy the countryside. Dates, locations and more information can be found below.

Summer at our sites
Now that summer finally seems to have arrived we're all hoping for some lovely days out with our furry friends, whilst you're out and about here are our top tips to keep dogs, wildlife and people safe throughout the summer.
Keep dogs on paths especially on the heaths where adders and rare birds live amongst the gorse.
Fires, BBQ's and camping stoves are not permitted at either Dawlish Warren or anywhere across the East Devon Pebblebed Heaths due to increased fire risks. Did you know Dawlish Countryside Park has a designated BBQ area? Find out more here.
Remember to carry water for your dog, walk early or late to avoid the heat and never leave your dog in the car.
The beach is a great place for a swim but beware of tides and currents - if your dog does get into trouble follow them from the shore but don't enter the water. Call 999 and ask for Coastguard.
Share our countryside - follow the Four Paws Code.
