Art and the Clyst Valley Regional Park
Join us to get out there and make art!
Art is all about exploration and discovery, and is a journey in itself.
We are keen to help people find the links between art and the world around them.
Even in lockdown we can explore the world through art. Why not join us on a journey?
Do join in!

Between now and July we encourage people of all ages to explore imaginative ways of making Art in the Clyst Valley. So much is possible even with lockdown, home-schooling, and social distancing in place!
You can download our own Clyst Valley art prompts and help sheets, between now and July. Each one will have different activities and themes.
Then… Please share your art with us on social media using hashtag #ClystArt.
Why not display your art in your window and share with your neighbours, like folk did with their rainbows last year?
If you don’t use social media but want to share your art email a picture to jpfreeman@eastdevon.gov.uk so that we can share it on our Twitter, Instagram and Facebook accounts @ClystValleyPark
Download our first #ClystArt activity sheet HERE

New activities will be posted every two weeks
Go National and join 'The Great Big Art Exhibition'
As well as sharing with us, we also encourage you to join in with the brilliant “The Great Big Art Exhibition” which is a National campaign launched by Sir Antony Gormley getting folk to create art, and display it from home, in windows or gardens.
Use the hashtag #thegreatbigartexhibition2021
It is a brilliant initiative and is all about using what you have at home to make art. There are loads of really good downloadable family friendly activities.
You can see the website here: https://firstsite.uk/
or hear Sir Antony being interviewed about it on C4 News here

Thumbs up for masterplan!
We had over 250 responses to the public consultation – thank you!
There was overwhelming support for what we’re trying to achieve.
We’re aiming to get a final plan to our Planning Committee for approval in April.
