    Seaton Down Hoard Launch

    Saturday 1 July, 11am to 1pm and 2 to 4pm, free, drop-in

    Come and see all of the coins from the Seaton Down Hoard on display. Explore the story of the hoard and look closely at some of the most special coins. Family activities in the Courtyard, including coin striking and coin handling.

    Identify your archaeological finds

    Saturday 15 July, 10am to 1pm and 2 to 4pm free, drop in

    Bring your finds to be recorded with the Portable Antiquities Scheme; the Local Finds Liaison Officer can assist with identification as well as the Treasure Act.

    Local artist Angie Seaway responds to the Devon landscape and coastline. She applies paint by flicking, pouring, dripping and splashing. She builds up layers using her fingers, cloths and toothbrushes. Artwork in this exhibition is for sale.

    Inspired by a box of her great grandmother’s jewellery, this collector shows off a selection of 1920s necklaces, amassed over the past 40 years.
