This is a reminder that Eastbourne Eco Action Network is inviting all households and organisations in Eastbourne to take part in a survey that will provide a snapshot of the town's progress towards becoming carbon neutral by 2023.
The deadline for responses is fast approaching.
When responding to the survey you will have the option of being entered into a prize draw.
The survey asks questions about things like the energy efficiency of your home or business premises and your views on what local authorities are doing to help tackle climate change. There is also an opportunity to find out your household's carbon footprint.
The survey is being run by Eastbourne Eco Action Network, a Community Interest Company which is independent of Eastbourne Borough Council.
The survey will remain open until Wednesday 14 February 2024 and is available via:
To request a paper copy of either survey, please email plasticfreeeastbourne@gmail.com
Eastbourne Carbon Neutral 2030 Symposium
Findings of the survey will be shared at a public symposium, which will take place at Eastbourne Town Hall on Saturday 20 April 2024 from 1pm to 4pm. Anyone interested in attending is asked to save the date - further details will be shared soon.
