The EAAPC Improvement Plan 2023 - 2024 and Graphic Summary was produced by the multi-agency EAAPC Improvement Subgroup on behalf of the (EAAPC) and endorsed by the Chief Officers Group (Child, Adult and Public Protection).
It provides a working multi-agency framework that has direct influence on both strategic development and practice improvement.
The Plan is informed by the EAAPC Chairs Biennial Report.

The Chair of the EAAPC has just finalised the EAAPC Chairs Biennial Report 2022 - 2024 which sets out the future priorities for the EAAPC. This report has been informed by the multi-agency ASP Self-Evaluation 2024 findings and identified improvement activity.
We also have the most updated position on improvement activity within the EAAPC Improvement Plan 2023 - 2024 and both these key reports have taken account of the East Ayrshire and Ayrshire wide Practitioner Events that we have held.
What this means
There has already been a high level of involvement and consultation, including people with lived experience, in respect of understanding our future priorities.
Nevertheless, we are keen to ensure that, as the plan is developed, organisations will be able to:
- find out about what we have achieved during the last two years
- understand the key improvement priorities which we have identified for the 2025 - 2026 Improvement Plan
- be able to comment on these and make suggestions

The EAAPC Improvement Sub Group has put together a small working group called the Improvement Plan Review Group (IRG) to oversee this review and ensure our new Plan is in place.
The IRG is made up of core partners of the EAAPC from NHS, EAHSCP, Advocacy and Performance and Planning. This group reports directly to the EAAPC Improvement Sub Group which provides wider oversight by all members of the EAAPC.
