Hoping you are all well. We are happy to share with you some progress made on two on-going projects for Mauchline Conservation Area Regeneration Scheme (CARS).
Read on to find our more about our Mauchline Heritage App update and our plans for new traditional street signage in Mauchline.

 Mauchline Heritage App
We had a great time today at Robert Burns Academy with our Mauchline Heritage App group.
Today the group discussed potential app themes, content, branding and functionality. It was great to hear the groups ideas, visions and overall enthusiasm for the project.
Thank you also to our partners at the Barony Campus, Icecream Architecture, Ayrshire College and East Ayrshire Council's Creative Minds Team, East Ayrshire for their ongoing support.
We cannot wait to see our App become a reality and complete the Mauchline Heritage Trail within it.

New street signs pending...
As part of our public realm improvements we plan to replace some of the street signage around our Conservation Area.
These signs are cast to create the appearance of a traditional cast iron sign. Examples of these styles of signs can be seen in historic pictures of the village and we think they will be a compliment to our historic properties.
The signs will be installed in two phases to accommodate the properties that are scheduled to receive restorative works through Mauchline CARS grant funding.
