Our website has a dedicated section of lessons and activities that we have used in special schools, supported learning bases and hubs across the authority.
These lessons would also be suitable for learners within mainstream settings. Recently, we have been making efforts to update these pages with more lesson ideas, and to include ideas for extension, challenge and connections across the curriculum. You can find these lesson plans on our dedicated ASN page on our LOST website.

We hear a lot about the benefits the outdoors can have on us and our pupils, but one of the barriers to outdoor learning can be evidencing its value. To mark Children's Mental Health Week, which took place at the beginning of February, Learning through Landscapes collated evidence that shows how outdoor learning and play can benefit children's mental health.
