From Thursday 27 November 2025, Portsmouth driving test centre will move to a temporary address.
All tests booked at the Portsdown Hill site will start at the Marriott Hotel from Thursday 27 November. This includes car, ADI standards checks and Part 2 and 3 tests:

Please use the designated parking in the hotel car park.
The last day of testing at the old site (Portsdown Hill) will be Wednesday 26 November.
The first day of testing at the temporary site (The Marriott) will be Thursday 27 November.
We are contacting candidates affected by this location change.
However, if you have booked a test on behalf of your pupil, please let them know about these changes.
