Important: Your vehicle approvals application process is improving from Monday 16 June

From Monday 16 June, we're changing the way you apply for your vehicle approval tests. Your IVA 1C forms for M1 vehicles can now be completed through My Vehicle Testing (MyVT). You’ll no longer need to download PDF forms for those test types. 

There will be several benefits to this new process, including:

  • Built-in prompts and error checking to reduce mistakes 
  • The ability to save your application and return to it later 
  • In future, you'll be able to re-use successful applications and submit multiple VINs in a single application 

What you need to do:

  • If you don't already have a MyVT account, please create one before submitting applications 
  • From 16 June, log in to MyVT to access the new online application process 
  • Accessible formats and postal options will be available for those who need them
