From Monday 21 April 2025, car driving tests due to take place at Chelmsford Museum will be carried out at a new temporary address.
The last day of testing at Chelmsford Museum will be Thursday 17 April.
The change of temporary location is needed due to planned roadworks around Chelmsford Museum. No tests will be lost in the move to the new temporary site.
The temporary address for car tests is:

Witham
CM8 3DR

Parking is available at the location.
Toilets and a waiting room are available on site.
We have contacted car candidates affected by this temporary location. However, if you have booked a test on behalf of your pupil, please let them know about these changes.
