DVSA is carrying out a survey of learner drivers. The survey will be sent to any learner driver who has a car driving test booked from 4 April 2025 onwards.
The survey will gather insights into:
- their driving experience and training journey
- test preparation and confidence levels
- booking their test
- how ready they feel to pass for their test
This research will help us develop evidence-based approaches to make sure learners are properly prepared when they take their test.
How you can help
Please reassure your pupils that this is a genuine DVSA survey and encourage them to complete it when they receive it.
The survey takes just 5 minutes.
We appreciate that lots of ADIs and learner drivers recently responded to our call for evidence on booking and managing driving tests. This is a different survey which has a wider focus than the booking experience alone.
