We’re making changes to the annual test for heavy vehicles (HGV/PSVs) to make them more environmentally friendly.  

From 29 April 2024, we will no longer be issuing paper certificates for vehicles that have passed their annual test.  

We will still issue paper certificates for failed results for the time being.

We’re asking businesses to start thinking about how you can implement these changes. We will be working with industry and frontline colleagues to ensure everyone is aware of these changes.
