DVSA services: Update on industrial action

The Public and Commercial Services (PCS) Union has announced that its members will take part in further strike action during April.

MOTs for cars, vans and motorcycles MOTs for cars, vans and motorcycles will not be affected by the strike action.  

If your testers have a MOT demonstration test

MOT testers should continue to attend their demonstration test as planned.  

If a MOT demonstration test does not go ahead as a result of strike action, DVSA will automatically rebook the appointment. MOT testers do not need to contact DVSA. 

Customer service centre

Customer service centre

PCS has announced strike dates that may affect our customer service centres on 5 and 6 April and 11 and 12 April.

On these dates the customer service centre will be open from 8am to 4pm and it may take longer than usual to answer your query.
