Following changes to the COVID-19 restrictions announced by government for England from 19 July, we want to explain what this means for MOT testing and how this will affect you.
Our advice for DVSA colleagues is:

face coverings: adhere to the rules of the MOT garage they are visiting

social distancing: use common sense and take care not to allow situations that could result in crowding

other measures: continue to take sensible precautions and maintain existing best practice on vehicle ventilation and hand washing/sanitising
We encourage all MOT garages to continue to follow the latest guidance to protect your colleagues and customers.
