Cycle Savvy Driving: still time to join pilot project

We wrote to you recently about a Department for Transport project that is aiming to recruit 4,000 ADIs to take part in a ground-breaking pilot, called Cycle Savvy Driving.

The trial will offer you the chance to improve your skills through continuous professional development, as well as develop understanding and co-operation between drivers and cyclists.

Amazon vouchers

And that’s not all – every participant will be entered into a prize draw to win one of five Amazon vouchers worth £100 each!

How it works

Upon registration, you will be randomly assigned to one of two groups:

1. Train now: Complete the first survey and then you will have access to a 2 hour online training model and opportunity to book the practical training course*. The training is free to attend.

2. Train later: Complete the first survey and then, simply wait! You will be asked to complete another survey in three months time, and can access the online course from October 2021.

*limited to 400 places, a £25 refundable deposit will be required. You do not have to be able to cycle. The course is 3.5 hours in length and held in 8 different locations across England.
