MOT testing in England

MOT testing in England

From Thursday 5 November, the Government is introducing new national restrictions in England to reduce the spread of coronavirus.

What this means for MOT garages

MOT garages can remain open.

To help ensure MOT testing can be conducted safely, you can read our guidance for MOT testers about operating safely during coronavirus.

A vehicle needs to have a valid MOT if it is being used, except for the journey to a pre-booked MOT.

Thank you

Information on the new national restrictions to control the spread of coronavirus can be read on the Government website.

Thank you for continuing to follow COVID-secure testing procedures to help ensure the safety of the public, your staff and DVSA staff.
