The UK Government is introducing a three tiered system of local COVID Alert Levels in England from Wednesday 14 October.
The three local alert levels do not affect MOT garages. MOT testing which has carried on throughout the pandemic, should continue.
To help ensure MOT tests can be conducted safely, we previously published guidance for MOT testers about operating safely during coronavirus.

We know you are dealing with extra demand for MOTs this autumn, because of the 6-month MOT exemption which was introduced to help prevent the spread of coronavirus.
