During the pandemic, we relaxed the rules around the calibration of equipment.
This was to help you while lots of calibration engineers were furloughed, and it was difficult to book a calibration.
Most engineers are now back at work – and the provisions of the special notice issued on 8 July 2020 will no longer apply.
As such, it’s vital that you make sure all your relevant equipment is calibrated by 31 October 2020.
Our vehicle examiners will be checking that your equipment has been calibrated. Testing on out of calibration equipment can result in testing being suspended until the equipment is re-calibrated – so be sure to get it done now.
