Our enforcement sanctions policy has been updated.
This guide sets out what action DVSA examiners might take when they find offences during roadside checks.
They can issue:
- warnings
- prohibition notices
- fixed penalties.
The revisions
The changes include:
- additional information on offence numbers for annex 1C smart tachograph
- the tachograph section being split between EU and International Road Transport (AETR) rules.
