Heavy vehicle test certificates are changing

From Saturday 14 July 2018, heavy vehicle test certificates will be changing to make them clearer and easier to understand.

The new style certificates for HGVs, PSVs and trailers will look similar to the new ones issued for car MOTs. 

There will also be a new 'Refusal to issue an MOT' form with clearer details on failure items.

Trailer expiry discs

We'll also stop issuing trailer expiry discs on 14 July 2018 as you can see this information on the MOT history service online.
