DVSA has just sent the below email to any trainee instructors who have an ADI part 3 test booked between 30 October and 10 November 2017.
I sent you a copy of the email to trainee instructors with a test booked until the 27 October, and I promised I'd send a copy of any other emails to you.

You should be aware that the changes to the ADI part 3 test won’t be happening on 2 October 2017.
DVSA still needs to get parliamentary approval for the date the change takes effect.
About your test
If your test is booked between 30 October and 10 November 2017 you have 2 choices. You can either:
• take the existing ADI part 3 test • move your test to a later date and take the new ADI part 3 test
It’s important to speak to your trainer to discuss these options before you make a decision.
Change your test date
If you do want to change your test date, and you haven’t already made any changes to this booking, go to www.gov.uk/changedrivingtest.
If you’ve already changed the date of this booking, you need to call us on 0300 200 1122 (dial 25 as soon as the message starts to play).
We’re hopeful the changes will be implemented by mid to late November but if there’s a further delay, we’ll let you know.
Kind regards,
Jacqui Turland ADI Registrar
