Individual Vehicle Approval (IVA) for lorries: ‘help to get a pass’

We've just updated our 'help to get a pass' guide on GOV.UK.

This guide tells you how to avoid the top 10 reasons that lorries and other heavy goods vehicles fail the IVA inspection.

Gordon Thomson, Head of Vehicle Testing Policy, said:
