This update will make it easier to find and issue duplicate and replacement certificates and change the risk score boundaries.

Duplicate and replacement certificates

You’ll be able to search for a duplicate or replacement certificate by using either a number plate or VIN only, instead of needing to use both.

All VTS roles, including ‘Site Manager’ and ‘Site Administrator’, will be able to find and issue duplicate certificates.

Replacement certificates can still only be searched for and issued by testers.

Risk score boundaries

To rebalance the numbers of garages within each category we're changing the boundaries between the red, amber and green risk categories.

Your score won’t change but you might find that you’re now in a different category.
