Selling a vehicle to the motor trade online service is now available

Motor traders can now tell DVLA that they've bought or taken a vehicle in part exchange online.

This service replaces the need for customers to send a V5C/3 disposal slip to DVLA. It also allows the trader to complete this transaction online, on their behalf. This means quicker updates to DVLA's record including an instant confirmation page that can be printed. It results in an instant trigger for automatic refunds of vehicle tax where there is a full month’s tax left on the vehicle.
