- Immerse yourself in the sights and sounds of wartime Britain as the 1940s returns to the Black Country Living Museum on Saturday 12 July.
- Join us for a spectacular evening of nostalgic entertainment as we step back in time to celebrate the spirit of the 1940s. Wander through period-accurate shops, homes, and industrial workplaces, each telling its own story of life during wartime.
- Put on your finest vintage attire, enjoy wartime and post-wartime music from talented live performers and sing along to timeless melodies that lifted spirits during one of history’s most challenging periods. So put on your dancing shoes and cut a rug to this years batch of top-notch performers;

- Under 5s Day, in association with Connect2Dudley, is coming back to Himley this summer with Duggee!
- This year we have a very special guest making personal appearances at intervals throughout the day – Duggee - a fun-loving friendly brown dog who runs the Squirrel Club, from hit TV show Hey Duggee.* *Appearances are included in admission price and are subject to availability.
- This popular fun filled event runs for 5 hours, jam-packed with entertainment specifically designed for children under 5 years old.
- Enjoy baby and toddler sessions throughout the day and enjoy all the fun of the seaside at Himley’s Beach.
- Activities include a small petting zoo, Lego for younger children, miniature railway, giant tortoises, Punch & Judy shows, arts and crafts, funfair, sandpit and main stage with interactive singing and dancing with Funtime Theatre.
- Plus free taster sessions from Wild Earth Movement, Art Venturers, Jiggly Wrigglers, Little Kickers Football, Pop-up Play Village, Tumble Tots, mini first aid, DMBC Road Safety Team, Dudley Libraries, Story Rangers, Dudley Zoo & more. For children who need a bit of “time out” SENstation will offer a quiet space on the day.

- Armed Forces Day in association with SF Harrison Roofing is returning to the prestigious Grade II listed Himley Hall & Park.
- The FREE event runs from 11am to 4pm and offers fun for all the family, including a paintball gallery, a vintage military vehicle display and dance lesson taster sessions hosted by Time to Swing Dance.
- In the park vintage and crafts will be on offer at Lily & Lolly’s Vintage & Craft Fayre, there will be ‘tea for the troops’ from a pop-up vintage tearoom as well as vintage fairground rides and Punch & Judy.
- Highlights of the day will include the Veteran's Badge presentation by the Mayor of Dudley and an opportunity to meet regular and reserve military units as well as army, air and sea cadets from across the region.
- Veterans are being urged to come forward and have special badges and medals presented by the Mayor of Dudley at this year’s Armed Forces Day event.

- As we ease into summer there is plenty to see and hear at Borough Halls this June. You Choose is an interactive music show for all the family, coming to Halesowen Town Hall, based on the brilliant book, meanwhile The Opal Ring sees Side by Side Theatre Company bringing us another of their superb productions to Stourbridge Town Hall.
- There will be much flexing of the vocal chords, as Festival Community Choir Presents The Vintage Big Sing at Dudley Town Hall and Lutley Community Voices Presents As Time Goes By with Billy Spakemon at Halesowen.
- Funny bones will be tickled at Stourbridge Town Hall’s monthly comedy club, Kum-n-avaloff, where headline is top stand-up Chris Brooker, and there is a rare treat in store for attendees at Sara Pascoe’s Work In Progress show at Halesowen Town Hall just a few days before the start of her big 2025 tour!
- Fans of Bridget Jones can see the latest movie of the franchise: Bridget Jones: Mad About the Boy (15) on the big screen at Stourbridge Town Hall this month.
- June is a musical month across all three of the Borough Halls with tributes to Small Faces (The All Or Nothing Experience), Queen (Supreme Queen), Sting and The Police (The Rozzers) and ABBA (Thank ABBA for the Music) all masterfully recreating our favourites. Also, for fans of Ragas & Rhythm, Dudley Town Hall will host The South Indian Music Festival at the end of the month.
- The inimitable football legend that is Paul Gascoigne will be chatting to a packed house about the games, dressing room / training ground stories, managers, fall outs and everything you wanted to know about playing for a successful football club, at Dudley Town Hall this month too.
- DB Halls are available for hire, offering a range of well-equipped and comfortable rooms to suit any occasion.
