Safer Internet Day

As Safer Internet Day comes up on 6 February, we are reminding parents and carers to visit our help hub for information on how to keep children, young people and themselves safe online.

Enough campaign

Love should never hurt. Young people have the power to challenge abuse, call out toxic behaviour, and stand up for what is right. We can help to stop violence against girls and women.

Darker nights

Prioritise personal safety during this darker nights period 🌃 🌙. Stay aware, protect yourself and your home by following some basic safety tips.  

ACT

The International Day of Zero Tolerance for Female Genital Mutilation is on 6 February, 2025. FGM is illegal in the UK. It’s also illegal to take a British national or permanent resident abroad for FGM, or to help someone trying to do this.

Safe Places

Safe places are locations in the community that anyone can go to if they need help when they’re out and about. There are many safe places across the borough 🏠.

Sexual Abuse Awareness Week

Sexual abuse & Sexual Violence Awareness Week runs from 3 to 9 February 2025 and aims to raise awareness that abuse is not OK. Join in the conversation using #itsnotOK.

Illegal tobacco trader jailed

A shop trader who sold illegal tobacco with four other men has been jailed for 34 months following a case brought by Dudley Council’s Trading Standards.

Man charged with theft

A man arrested in connection with a series of thefts from shops across Dudley has been charged to appear in court.
