There is no need to be bored this half term with Himley Fireworks and activities in leisure centres, visitor attractions, libraries and more.

Himley fireworks

The ever-popular Himley Fireworks event, organised by Dudley Council, returns to the park on Saturday 2 November with a stunning 30-minute firework display. It will also include a giant funfair, street entertainment, a night market and food from around the world.

Free swimming

Children who live in Dudley borough can benefit from free swimming at Duncan Edwards Leisure Centre in Dudley, Crystal Leisure Centre in Stourbridge and Halesowen Leisure Centre.

Terms and conditions apply and people must be registered in advance.

Duncan Edwards, Crystal, Halesowen leisure centres and The Dell Stadium have plenty of activities to entertain the kids this half term.

Red House Glass Cone and Dudley Museum

The Red House Glass Cone is offering bookable glass fusing sessions during the week.

Fun craft sessions ‘Trick and Treat’ are being held on Thursday 31 October.

Himley Hall and Park play area

Children can enjoy a large wooden play tower, including a spiral slide, rotating carousels, zip line, seesaws, rocking horses, and several swings in the new woodland play area.

A free fun Halloween Trail will also run at the park from Saturday 26 to Thursday 31 October, with worksheets available from the Coffee Lounge.

Entertainment Live

Enjoy spooky entertainment at Stourbridge Town Hall with the live Halloween special show ‘Villains Unleashed’. We also have film screenings of ‘Addams Family 2’ and ‘Ghostbusters: The Frozen Empire’.

The ever-popular All Star Superslam Wrestling will return to Dudley Town Hall next week too.
