There's still two weeks of the summer reading challenge left to go, with stacks of activities at all of our libraries. Here's just a smattering of what's on offer:

Find out about the animals the ancient Egyptians revered with Professor Black at Kingswinford Library on Monday 21 August and Wordsley Library on Wednesday 30 August. Sessions run at 11am and 2pm on both days. It's free!

How are you getting on with the Summer Reading Challenge? There's still two weeks to go to get your six books read! Read whatever you like in any format you like; fiction, fact books, poetry, joke books, picture books, graphic novels, audiobooks or eBooks.
Read all 6 and receive a medal, certificate and a DVD loan voucher.

Jesse’s semi-autobiographical book, ‘When Nani, When?’ tells the story of young girl Jaya who learns the value of patience from her beloved grandmother, Nani. The book launches on Thursday 31 August from 10.30am-11.30 and incudes an author talk, book signing, badge making and a colouring and card activity. Aimed at 4 to 7 year olds.
