The cold snap continues

Freezing conditions are expected to continue over the next few days, with temperatures plunging to -4C overnight along with the possibility of more wintry sleet and snow showers. 

Our gritting teams have been out the last couple of nights and will be out again today. They will be working through the night to grit principal roads. With frosty and icy conditions likely, please take care on the roads if you do have to make an essential journey.
