Traffic management measures, road closures and parking restrictions will be in place in Dudley borough during the Birmingham 2022 Commonwealth Games cycling time trials. Significant disruption is expected.
The following roads will be closed from 5am to 6pm on Thursday 4 August:
- A459 Wolverhampton Road, High Street (Sedgley)
- Dudley Street (A459), High Holborn
- Tipton Street, Sedgley Road (A457)
- Birmingham New Road, northbound lanes between the A457 and A4037
- Priory Road (A4168)
- The Broadway (A459)
- Selected roads in Dudley Town Centre - Ednam Road, Priory Road, Priory Street, St. James's Road (between Trinity Road and Stone Street), Parsons Street
- Burton Road (between Traquain Drive and the A459)
- Burton Road, Kent Street, Clarence Street, Dudley Road
- Moden Hill, Catholic Lane
- Gospel End Street, Gospel End Road, Cotwall End Road
- Straits Road, Summit Place, Brick Kiln Lane
- Himley Road (between Guys Lane and Dudley Road, B4176)

Sedgley Road West (A457) - Birmingham New Road (A4123)
- Access between Sedgley Road and Birmingham New Road only
- No access towards Sedgley via Tipton Road
Wolverhampton Road (A449) - B4176 (Himley)
- Access between Wolverhampton Road and B4176 towards Wombourne
- No access towards Wolverhampton (A449) or Himley Hall (B4176)

There will be no parking on the time trial route from 6pm on Wednesday 3 August until 6pm on Thursday 4 August. If you regularly park on these roads, you will need to find alternative parking.
Any vehicles that remain on the route within these times will be towed to a nearby street off the route. If your vehicle is towed, please contact 01565 872707 to find where it has been moved.

If you live inside the route, a number of vehicle crossing points will be available that will allow you to enter and leave the area.
The majority of these crossing points will be in operation between 5am to 9.15am and 3.30pm to 6pm on Thursday 4 August.
Marshalled crossing points are available throughout the time trial route for pedestrians to cross the road.
