I am delighted to announce the launch event of the new SEND Strategy and Inclusion Charter will take place on Thursday 30 September. Attendees will get to hear about how the strategy has been developed working with young people, parents/carers and stakeholders as well as the detail of the strategy itself.

All Different All Equal, Dudley’s brand-new SEND strategy and Inclusion Charter is being launched at a free celebration event on Thursday 30 September, 10:30 – 1:30pm at Himley Hall.

Are you a parent or carer of a child or young person with special educational needs and disabilities?The newly independent Dudley Parent Carer Forum is looking for parents and carers across the borough to sign-up to become members.

We want to hear about your experiences with a range of different services, particularly over the last two years. We will use this information to ensure we focus our work on the areas that are most important to you.

To support Assistance Dog Week earlier this month, Dudley Council produced a short animation video detailing the role assistance dogs play in society, and how they support their owners on a day-to-day basis.

We are hosting two workshops for parents and carers to hear about the development of the new Dudley Integrated Early Years’ Service and to give views.
