Elections on Thursday May 6

Local elections take place on the same day as West Midlands Combined Authority (WMCA) Mayor and Police and Crime Commissioner (PCC) elections.

If you have registered to vote you will have received your poll card detailing your nearest polling station. For those registered to vote by post or proxy, we will be sending you what you need in time to vote.

People voting at polling stations need to bring their own pencil or pen.

All polling stations will be covid secure and social distancing measures will be in place. You may need to queue before entering the polling station so that we can safely manage the number of people in and out.

Please wear a face mask unless you are exempt, sanitise your hands on entry and ideally bring your own pen or pencil to mark your ballot paper.

You do not need to bring your polling card with you on the day, all we need is your name and address. If you do bring your card, you will need to take it away with you.
