Welcome to our latest SEND Improvement Programme bulletin.
I’m excited to see the launch of a brand new Local Offer website - a one stop resource of information and services available.
I would like to welcome Dr Catherine Driscoll, new permanent Director of Children’s Services at Dudley Council to the team.

The speed of delivery in some areas of the action plan have been affected due to the Covid-19 pandemic. We have had to prioritise the actions and improvements where staff, partners and other stakeholders have been accessible and available.
|
|
Clinical Commissioning Groups (CCGs) must provide a Designated Medical Officer (DMO) or Designated Clinical Officer (DCO). In Dudley we have both a DMO and a DCO.

|
The next Dudley SEND Network sessions take place in the week starting 15th March 2021 and cycled will be covering the Graduated response – what schools will do for Assess-Plan Do- Review cycle?
|
|
There has been a lot of activity with the advice of the National CONTACT Group to move forward with an interim steering group and the SEND management team.
|
|
|
