Borough numbers are up

Residents are being urged to follow lockdown rules “to the letter” following a spike in the number of positive coronavirus cases in Dudley borough because of increased testing.

Test centre walk-through

People can watch a walk through the coronavirus test centre and see how people are tested at the sites. There are two located in Dudley borough and it’s a simple, easy procedure to have a test and staff on site will provide guidance and support

Advice to people who were shielding

In light of the new national restrictions, guidance for people who are clinically extremely vulnerable (previously shielding) has changed.

Free parking roll-out

Car parking charges have been suspended on all council-owned car parks to help frontline staff who still need to travel to work and shoppers when they are out getting essential supplies

Extra green bin collections

The green waste collection service is set to be extended across Dudley borough by one month to make up for missed collections earlier in the year

Borough-wide firework success

Thousands took to their doorsteps to enjoy an amazing free firework and lighting display which lit up the night sky across the whole borough. Watch our 360 video here

National Youth Work Week

Dudley Youth Council has put together a series of videos as part of National Youth Work Week

Remembrance

On Sunday November 8 the civic Remembrance Day service will be broadcast on radio and online for residents to follow from their homes
