New parents in the borough will be able to register their baby’s birth from Monday, with appointment slots bookable now.
Dudley Council suspended birth registrations at the start of lockdown as part of government guidelines to help combat the spread of coronavirus. However, from next week all newborns in the Dudley borough can be registered – albeit with new rules to ensure safety.
Parents who have not been able to register births due to the pandemic are urged to book an appointment to do so as soon as possible.
