Safer City: Action in Doncaster City Centre
Ahead of a busy weekend in the city, our officers from several different teams are out on the streets providing reassurance, visibility, and support. We’re committed to making Doncaster a safer place—whether you're a resident, visitor, or business owner.
We won’t tolerate anti-social behaviour from the small minority who disrupt our community. If you see our team while you're out and about, come and say hello!
Together, we’re building a safer Doncaster.
Local History Stops By
The marvellous Tuby Steam Engine stopped off in Doncaster this week and was greeted by the Civic Mayor and citizens of all ages outside the Mansion House.
100 year old steam engine was built in 1925 and named after former Mayor of Doncaster George Thomas Tuby.
A beautiful example of local engineering!

Tell us what you think about Pharmacy provision across Doncaster
We regularly review what services we have, what local people need, whether the pharmacies are in the right place and providing the right services and how things might change in the future. This process is called a ‘pharmaceutical needs assessment’ and City of Doncaster Council is preparing its next one which we aim to publish by 1 October 2025.
Your views are absolutely key to informing future provision in Doncaster so please take a few minutes to have your say in the short survey:
Closing Monday 10 March.
