Funding to Transform Urban Areas with UK Native Plants or Funghi
The Grow Wild Community Programme is offering around 20 grants of up to £2,000 to not-for-profit groups to transform urban spaces for the benefit of people and wildlife through planting and championing UK native plants or fungi.
The grant can cover 100% of project specific costs, including seeds plants, soil, materials, events, workshop charges, specialist experts and contractor costs.
The deadline for applications is 3pm on 13th February, 2025.
KFC Youth Foundation
The KFC Youth Foundation is offering grants of up to £3,000 per year for up to two years for not-for-profit groups to deliver projects that empower economically disadvantaged young people to fulfill their potential and build a positive future.
Groups must first submit an online Expression of Interest, including a two-minute video about their organisation, before being invited to submit a full application.
The next deadline for applications is 11.59pm on 14th February, 2025.
Suez Communities Fund Accepting Applications for First 2025 Funding Round
Suez Communities Trust is offering grants of between £3,000 and £50,000 for constituted not-for-profit groups to deliver projects that make capital improvements to public amenities projects in communities surrounding a qualifying SUEZ Recycling and Recovery site.
There is a two-stage application process. Groups must first submit an online Expression of Interest before being invited to submit a full application.
The next deadline for applications is midnight on 19th February, 2024.
Annual Pet Rescue Grant Programme
The Pet Rescue Grants Programme funding is intended to help frontline animal welfare services provide a second chance to pets who have been exploited for profit.
The funding supports projects that help with the rescue or rehabilitation of dogs, cats or rabbits who have been affected by the illegal pet trade.
The 2025 application window closes on 21st February, 2025.
Funding for Sustainable and Active Travel
The Naturesave Trust offers funding for a different theme each year. This year, grants of up to £5,000 are for projects that actively promote sustainable and eco-friendly approaches to travel and transport.
Applications are accepted from charities, social enterprises, voluntary organisations, small grassroots community groups and businesses.
The application deadline for the current round is midday on 27th February, 2025.
Delamare Dairy Foundation Accepting Applications for First 2025 Funding Round
Delamare Dairy Foundation is offering grants of between £1,000 and £5,000 for charities and community groups to deliver projects in communities that align with the Foundation’s objectives.
Funding is available for the following:
- The advancement of agriculture and environmental protection.
- The advancement in life of young people by developing their capabilities so that they may mature as contributory members of society.
- The relief of financial hardship.
- The advancement of education.
The next deadline for applications is 28th February, 2025.
Rewilding Innovation Fund
The Rewilding Innovation Fund will support rewilding projects at a scale of more than 40 hectares, that adhere to Rewilding Britain’s rewilding principles and could potentially unlock further funding or move a project in scale.
Funding can cover costs such as direct interventions, or any expertise that a project requires. Grants of up to £15,000 will be considered.
To apply, groups must be members of the Rewilding Network.
The next deadline for applications is 28th February, 2025.
Funding to Support Holiday Activities for Autistic Children and Young People
This Scheme provides grants of up to £15,000 to activity schemes for autistic children and young people, and their siblings, which run in the school holidays. Grants are usually for part of the costs.
Priority for funding will be given to autistic-specific schemes.
Applications will close on 28th February, 2025.
Canoe Foundation Accepting Applications
The Canoe Foundation, the official charity partner of British Canoeing, is now open for applications.
Applications will be accepted from a range of organisations, including paddle clubs, community groups, charities, parish councils, and local authorities.
The deadline for applications is 28th February, 2025.
Grants for Youth Mental Organisations to Deliver Monitoring and Evaluation Projects
Charities and community interest companies (CICs) working to deliver mental health support to young people aged between 10 and 30 to deliver mental health can apply for funding to help build monitoring and evaluation (M&E) capacity.
Through the What's Working? Strength in Data Grants Programme, the Prudence Trust is offering around five to six grants of at least £10,000 to bolster organisational capacity to do quality data collection and to make use of that data to periodically review services.
There is a two-stage application process. Groups must first submit an Expression of Interest form before being invited to complete a full second-stage application.
The deadline to submit an Expression of Interest is 4pm on 3rd March, 2025.
Funding to Support Leadership in the UK’s Migration Sector
Grants are available for grassroots organisations and individuals with lived experience of migration to bolster leadership in the migration sector.
Through this initiative, organisations and individuals can design and tailor their own leadership programmes or approaches to meet the specific needs of their teams and communities.
An information webinar will be held via Zoom on: 11th February, 2025 (1pm) and 24th February, 2025. (1pm).
The deadline for grant applications is 5pm on 12th March, 2025.
Rowing Foundation Accepting Grant Applications for 2025 Projects
The Rowing Foundation offers grants to clubs, schools and organisations who are involved in rowing and need help in buying equipment or refurbishing a boat.
The funding should either be for the benefit of young people or those in full time education, or for the disabled.
Applications for refurbishment grants can be made at any time. Equipment grant applications are considered three times a year.
The first 2025 deadline for equipment grant applications is midday on 17th March, 2025.
Grow Wild Youth Grants
Grow Wild will be offering grants of £500 to young people (aged 16 to 25 years) to deliver a creative project that celebrates why UK native plants and/or fungi are so special.
The grant be used to pay for anything to support the project, such as equipment, materials, training, resources, or expert help.
Applications will be accepted from young people aged 16 to 25 years old and who can find a supporting organisation, such as a school, university, youth club or a local community group, to help them deliver the project.
The application deadline is 3pm on 19th March, 2025.
Stelios Foundation Offers £300,000 to Young Entrepreneurs
The Stelios Foundation Awards target young start-up entrepreneurs in the UK who require extra capital, but also the recognition of winning the awards, on their journey to scale-up into a successful growth business and create more new jobs in the UK.
There are three cash prizes for the winners totalling £300,000 (First: £150,000, Second: £100,000 and third £50,000). The money must be invested in the business to further its growth and success.
Applications are open to UK based entrepreneurs who are 34 years old or younger and whose start-up company has been registered at Companies House in the last five years.
The deadline for applications is 28th March, 2025.
Grants to Help Councils Tackle Chewing Gum Litter
Now in its fourth year, the Chewing Gum Task Force Grant Scheme is open to councils who wish to clean the gum off the pavements in their local areas and invest in long-term behaviour change to prevent gum from being dropped in the first place.
Councils can apply for grants of up to £27,500 to undertake chewing gum cleansing in streets, town centres, train/bus stations, parks and/or other public spaces.
The deadline for applications is midday on 28th March, 2025.
UK Charities Can Apply for Annual ‘Innovation for Good’ Grant
For a seventh year, the Innovation for All Foundation is making a small number of grants available to registered charities to deliver projects which use innovative and creative solutions to benefit local communities in the UK.
Grants of £10,000, £20,000 and £30,000 are available for activities that meet the Fund’s grantmaking theme of 'Innovation for good'.
Applications are open for the 2025 round with a deadline of 31st March, 2025.
The Arts Society Accepting Applications for Spring 2025 Funding Round
Grants of up to £2,000 are available for UK-registered charities to deliver projects across all aspects of the arts, crafts, and heritage and support local and regional art museums and organisations.
There is a two-stage application process. Groups must register their organisation with The Arts Society through their online portal before applying.
The deadline for applications is 31st March, 2025.
Hospital Saturday Fund Opens for 2025 Applications
Registered charities with medical/health objectives, hospices and medical organisations can apply once per calendar for funding to assist with medical capital projects, medical care or research or support of medical training taking place in the UK.
There are two levels of awards:
- Standard Grants of £2,000
- Larger Grants of up to £10,000 to be used towards specific projects, research or equipment rather than running costs.
The 2025 deadlines for:

Standard grant applications are 9th April, 2025, 9th July, 2025, 14th October, 2025, and 5th January, 2026.

Large grant applications are 12th March, 2025, 11th June, 2025, 16th September, 2025, and 2nd December, 2025.
Funding to Help Disadvantaged Groups to Improve their Communication Skills
Grants of up to £5,000 are available for UK registered charities for specific projects that improve communication skills for disadvantaged adults and supports NEET people into employment.
The funder views communication skills as critical capabilities for people who want to improve their employment prospects, self-confidence, resilience, and life chances.
Grants cannot be used for capital costs. There is a two-stage application process.
The deadline for stage one application is 5th May,2025.
Major Capital Grants Programme for Veterans’ Accommodation - Round 4
This funding opportunity is for registered charities and registered social housing providers to support new builds and significant refurbishment, including extensions, of rental accommodation that will offer high quality support for veterans with a housing need.
Grants of between £75,000 and £500,000 are available for projects.
This is the fourth of four programme rounds. There is a two-stage application process.
Round 4 is accepting Expressions of Interest with a deadline of midday on 18th June, 2025.
Sport England Offers Funding for Facilities Damaged by Extreme Weather
Sport England has announced that its Movement Fund will give priority to sports and activities that need help to recover quickly from the recent impact of extreme weather, including Storms Bert, Conall, Darragh, Eowyn and Herminia.
Community organisations can apply now for grants of between £300 and £15,000 to support emergency costs to help restore their sports facilities and activity venues.
No deadline for applications has been given.
Cash for Kids’s Children’s Mental Health Grants
The Cash for Kids Charity is currently offering grant of between £1,000 and £3,000 to support children living in local communities.
The grants need to be spent within six months and can cover a range of project costs, such as therapy including counselling, music/art therapy, speech/language therapy, physiotherapy, bereavement support, and sensory equipment.
Applications are accepted from registered charities, schools, community groups, voluntary groups, youth group etc.
Applications are accepted at any time until all funds are allocated.
Small Grants to Help People Get Outdoors and Experience the Natural World
The Alpkit Foundation makes small awards that support grass roots, direct action projects where a positive difference can be made to remove the barriers in getting outdoors and experience the benefits of time spent outdoors.
Community groups, schools and organisations based and working within the UK can apply for grants of between £50 and £500.
Applications can be submitted at any time and will be considered every two months.
Grants to Support the Conservation of Historic Buildings
Grants of up to £250,000 are available for organisations to support the preservation of heritage buildings and structures of architectural significance, particularly historic country houses, including their gardens, grounds, and works of art within them.
Grants of between £1,000 and £250,000 are available.
Organisations legally responsible for repairing a historic building, garden, and grounds can apply.
Applications can be submitted at any time.
Tree Council Accepting Applications for Tree Planting Projects
Tree Council, in partnership with Network Rail, is offering grants of between £2,500 and £15,000 for community groups, schools, charities, community interest companies (CICs), and other organisations to deliver sustainable community tree planting projects that benefit local people and communities.
Priority will be given to trees planted in the ground, however, trees planted in containers or raised beds may be considered.
Applications can be submitted at any time.
