Dementia Action Week runs from the 13-19 May this year, and there are lots of events happening around Doncaster for those that are affected by dementia as well as carers, friends and family.

Doncaster's Dementia Information Day
Join us at the Eco-Power Stadium on Friday 17 May from 10am - 4pm for a FREE event offering information and advice for people living with dementia, including guest speakers with lived experience.
You can also talk with services who offer support and activities those who have dementia and their carers, with representatives from City of Doncaster Council, Age UK, Alzheimer's Society and more.
If you, or somebody you support, would like to attend you can register through the events Facebook page, but don’t worry even if you don’t register you can still attend!

The Memory Club

Dementia Charity Golf Open Day
Raising money for dementia organisations across Doncaster. All proceeds will support dementia activities delivered by DonMentia, Home Instead and the Wheatley Golf Club Memory Club. The event starts at 1pm on Tuesday 21 May.
The day will be held at Wheatley Golf Club, Armthorpe Road, Doncaster, DN2 5QB. Entry Fee is £20 for Wheatley Members and £40 for non-members, which includes refreshments and a meal for those who attend.
