Our Recycling Centre passes are going digital!
If you need a pass to visit one of our Recycling Centre sites, also known as Household Waste Recycling Centres (HWRCs), you can now do it all online.
Residents can sign up for their free account online.
A pass is not required for residents visiting our HWRC sites in their personal cars.
You’ll need to apply for a pass for the following:

Vehicle Pass – for medium to large vans or a car towing a trailer

Pedestrian Pass – if you are walking, using a bus, bicycle, or mobility scooter to travel to site

Booking – for one-off visits in exceptional circumstances, to visit site with a Pedestrian Pass or to dispose of asbestos
The digital pass system will mean that residents no longer need a permit windscreen badge to visit recycling centres once registered. Instead, ANPR technology will be used for an automated pass scheme.
