Behind the original façade of the historic Doncaster Girls' High School lies a fascinating collection of artefacts revealing the story of Doncaster’s past. The Danum Gallery, Library and Museum houses libraries, an art gallery, two museums, and a rail heritage centre inside a unique, purpose-built architectural wonder.

Discover the fascinating history of Morris Dancing in Doncaster! Organised by the Green Oak Morris Men in partnership with the Danum, this exhibition explores the rich heritage and traditions of Morris dancing in Doncaster.

Janet Samson: A Retrospective
20 January - 13 April 2024
This retrospective of works by Janet Samson reflects Samson’s highly personal take on the world. Painted in the studio from drawings done in front of the subject, they include images of people on public transport, relaxing in cafes, and the life of the city streets.
