Penguin Trail
If you're looking for a free, easy way to spend quality time with your family and friends whilst exploring the city centre, look no further!
Our newly installed Penguin Trail promises a fantastic experience for everyone, from the youngest explorers to the young at heart!
You can download the Trail Map on the Visit Doncaster website or pick one up in the Tourist Information Centre, next to Mansion House.
The trail takes 30-minutes and translates to around 3,000 steps!
This Thursday: Evening with Father Christmas at the Mansion House
Join the man himself, alongside his cheeky elves for an evening of magic and mischief!
Father Christmas will be sharing songs & stories where everyone can get involved and join in the fun, while Mrs Claus will help children decorate Christmas cookies.

While the 4:30pm session has sold out, there are still tickets left for sessions at 5:30pm & 6:30pm - available below:

Christmas Cabins
Frost Festival is underway as our Christmas Cabins have arrived!
Find the Cabins situated in the area around Clock Corner between Frenchgate and Doncaster Market, from 2 - 16 December.
Enjoy the charm and atmosphere, and pick up a quality pressie along the way from the local makers, small businesses and craft style traders. You can also grab a bite to eat, with festive refreshments available from the food and drink stalls.

Join us for traditional carols and festive entertainment beside the Christmas tree. We have festive treats for all including scrumptious food and hot drinks as well as rides and activities for our younger visitors.
The elves have been hard at work filling the snow globe for your photos and Father Christmas himself will be making one of his last appearances before he gets ready for the big day - a truly festive way to mark the start of the holidays with some traditional Christmas cheer, at this free event.
Free City Centre Parking
Doncaster’s free parking initiative is back again this year!
From Friday 1 December until Friday 5 January, visitors will be able to park for free in selected council car parks after 2pm, and all-day Saturday!

Christmas Holiday Fun with the Holiday, Activity and Food (HAF) programme
As the festive season approaches, City of Doncaster Council are pleased to announce that the Holiday, Activity and Food (HAF) programme will run over the Christmas holidays period from 27 December – 8 January 2024.
The HAF programme provides physical exercise, healthy food and enriching activities during the school holidays for children who are eligible for, and in receipt of benefits related free school meals.
