Storm Update

Whilst the weather has turned for the better today, the forecast is predicting more rain for Saturday so we have been out today monitoring river levels including those in priority areas that have recently seen flooding. We are ready to respond if needs be this weekend.

We have continued to inspect road conditions and if any roads can be reopened or if any repair works are needed. This does take time and we are working around Doncaster as quickly as possible.

We have continued to use pumps in key areas and monitoring conditions.

We will be closely monitoring the weather and updates will be provided on MyDoncaster social media and website on any affects in Doncaster.

Please do remember if you are out and about this weekend that the ground will most likely be saturated with recent rainfall.

Domestic Abuse in Doncaster

We would really appreciate hearing from people who have experienced domestic abuse in Doncaster.

This is to ensure every victim/survivor and their voice is central to everything we do. This survey feedback will help us reflect on the services available across Doncaster and help us with future planning.

Please park responsibly!

Thousands of people are expected to visit the Eco-Power Stadium this weekend and parking like this isn’t acceptable.

Please park responsibly and legally or you risk receiving a penalty charge notice.

As a local authority, we have a duty of care to keep the highways and pavements clear for the safety of road users and allow for emergency service access.

A quick reminder that the annual canvass is still underway.

Some residents can expect to receive a telephone call or door-to-door visit from one of our canvassers.
