 Locality Plan 2023/2024
Did you know that each area of Doncaster has its own Locality Plan?
The plans are all about identifying the great strengths and assets of each area, and looking at where they can improve.
In collaboration with local residents, communities, businesses and organisations, we have been delivering last year’s plan and wanted to highlight some of the great achievements that came out of this, as well as sharing the areas you told us you wanted us to focus on to improve your community, as part of this year’s plan.

Here is some key information on the national Coronation Weekend celebrations:

Saturday 6th May 2023 – King Charles III’s Coronation at Westminster Abbey, London.

Sunday 7th May 2023 – Special Coronation concert will be staged and broadcast live at Windsor Castle by the BBC. Join the Coronation Big Lunch where neighbours and communities are invited to share food and fun together across the country. Sign up for a pack of downloadable resources here.

Monday 8th May 2023 – Bank Holiday Monday. Members of the public will be invited to take part in The Big Help Out which will encourage people to try volunteering and support their local areas.

Have your say on new Health Centres for Doncaster
Public consultation is currently underway for a new proposed health centre in Rossington.
The proposals, developed by the NHS South Yorkshire Integrated Care Board, include a proposed new building on the site of the former colliery intends to house the existing Rossington Practice and West End Clinic.
As part of the consultation, members of the public who would be affected by the proposal can comment through the below survey.
