We built this City!

It’s official – our new name is the City of Doncaster!

Yesterday, Full Council supported the recommendation for Doncaster’s new name hot on the heels of His Majesty The King visiting last week to confer city status.

In May, we were granted the prestigious honour of City status as part of the late Queen’s Platinum Jubilee. Last week saw Their Majesties The King and Queen Consort visit Doncaster to confer the status.

Thanks to everyone who helped to make this happen.
