We are set to overhaul the way we support some of the county’s most vulnerable young people, with a new £140 million framework aimed at improving housing and support for 16 to 25-year-olds leaving care or at risk of homelessness.

Councillors have approved an ambitious plan to create 3,000 hectares of new woodland in the south of Devon. Developed by a partnership which includes Plymouth City Council, South Hams District Council, West Devon Borough Council, the National Trust and the Woodland Trust, the plan aims to increase tree cover by three per cent and restore up to 1,900 hectares of habitat by 2050.
