Following the recent updates shared in Keeping Children Safe in Education (KCSIE) 2025, the Devon Safeguarding Team has updated the current safeguarding policy. The revised document, including tracked changes, is now available on our website: Safeguarding policies, guidance and training - Support for schools and settings.
To support you in reviewing and implementing these updates, we’ve also produced two additional documents:

KCSIE 2025 Compliance Checklist (July 2025) – Designed especially for those who have already personalised their draft policy from the June update and would prefer to edit their existing version.
