Outbreak of Burkholderia stabilis ST480

New and emerging issues:

UKHSA is investigating an outbreak of Burkholderia stabilis (ST480) which is suspected to be associated with contamination of non-sterile alcohol-free skin cleansing wipes. There are currently 48 confirmed cases and 3 probable cases across England, Scotland and the Republic of Ireland. A National Patient Safety Alert has been issued.
