Dear Colleagues,
I want to take this opportunity to acknowledge the challenges that some schools have experienced following the recent migration to the Bromcom financial system. We fully recognise that this transition has led to increased workloads for some colleagues, particularly in completing essential financial management tasks.
We are also aware that these difficulties have, in some cases, contributed to delays in budget setting. Please be assured that we understand the frustration this has caused and are committed to supporting you through this period of change.
Ongoing support is available through Scomis, who remain dedicated to resolving all issues in collaboration with schools. Scomis continues to offer webinars and training opportunities, and I strongly encourage all schools to make full use of these resources. Please do not hesitate to raise any issues directly with Scomis, as early identification is key to timely resolution.
Additionally, our Finance team is available to signpost you to helpful guidance and resources. I am grateful to those schools who have already raised concerns, and I would like to thank DSLS for their role in helping to identify the range of issues being experienced.
This matter was discussed in depth at the recent Schools Finance Group, and I want to reassure you that we are committed to providing ongoing support throughout this major transformation project.
Thank you for your continued patience and collaboration.
Warm regards,
Jack Newton
Deputy Director and Head of Inclusion and Learning
