Food and drink businesses come together at
People Planet Profit event
On Thursday 19 September, we hosted our ‘People Planet Profit’ event at Greendale Farm Shop. A collaboration with the Food Drink Devon Sustainability Working Group, this engaging evening focused on growing a sustainable food and drink business.
We were joined by over 50 people from a range of local businesses interested exploring how social, environmental, and financial sustainability can be prioritised in the food drink sector. Attendees heard case studies from inspirational local businesses including Greendale Farm, Two Drifters Distillery, Sharpham Dairy and Owens Organic Coffee, as well as local initiatives and support projects.
To accompany the event, we have produced a short digital booklet which contains all the information discussed on the night plus some more. This is available for anyone to read and can be accessed below.
We look forward to continuing to work with the Food Drink Devon Sustainability Working Group and hopefully running some more sustainability-themed events for local food and drink businesses in the future.
